To check your usage score on the REATHEALTH Luna G3 APAP Machine with Heated Humidifier, follow these steps:
1. After each treatment session, the Luna G3 APAP Machine will provide a Usage Score and Usage Summary on the screen for you to quickly understand your recent usage from 12:00 noon of the previous day to 12:00 noon of the current day.
2. The total score is out of 100 points and is categorized as follows:
- Good: Score of 75 or higher
- Acceptable: Score between 55 and 74
- Needs Improvement: Score of 54 or lower
3. The total score is broken down into three main categories:
- Used Time (60 points): The more time you spend receiving treatment, the more points you score. For example, using the device for 30 minutes earns you 5 points, and using it for 1 hour earns you 10 points. You can score up to 60 points based on your treatment time.
- Mask Seal (20 points): You can score up to 20 points if you wear the mask properly without any extra leakage during treatment. If the average leakage is less than 10 L/min, you score 20 points, with points deducted for increasing levels of leakage.
- Respiratory Events (20 points): The fewer respiratory events (apneas and hypopneas) you experience, the higher your score. If your Apnea-Hypopnea Index (AHI) is less than 5, you score 20 points, with points deducted for higher AHIs.
4. The scoring system is designed to help you track your adherence to treatment and the effectiveness of your therapy. Regularly checking your usage score can provide valuable insights into your sleep apnea management and help you optimize your treatment routine.
