To install memory (RAM) in the Intel NUC5CPYH Mini PC NUC Kit, follow these steps:
1. **Precautions:** Before you begin, make sure to turn off all peripheral devices connected to the computer and disconnect the AC power cord.
2. **Opening the Chassis:** Unscrew the four corner screws on the bottom cover of the chassis and lift the cover to access the internals.
3. **Installing SO-DIMMs:**
- Align the small notch at the bottom edge of the SO-DIMM with the key in the socket.
- Insert the bottom edge of the SO-DIMM into the socket.
- Push down on the outer edge of the SO-DIMM until the retaining clips snap into place. Ensure the clips are firmly in place.
4. **Removing SO-DIMMs:**
- Turn off the computer and disconnect all peripherals.
- Gently spread the retaining clips at each end of the SO-DIMM socket to release the RAM module.
- Lift the SO-DIMM away from the socket and store it in an anti-static package.
5. **Closing the Chassis:** After installing the new memory modules, close the Intel NUC chassis by reattaching the cover and tightening the screws by hand with a screwdriver.
