To reset the Homematic IP Access Point to its factory settings, follow these steps as outlined in the manual:
1. Disconnect the Access Point from the power supply by unplugging the mains adapter.
2. Plug in the mains adapter again and press and hold down the system button for 4 seconds until the LED starts flashing orange quickly.
3. Release the system button.
4. Press and hold down the system button again for 4 seconds until the LED lights up green. If the LED lights up red, repeat the process.
5. Release the system button to complete the procedure.
After performing these steps, the device will restart, and the Access Point will be reset to its factory settings. If you need to reset and delete the entire installation, you can follow the additional steps provided in the manual.
