To simulate the Stepper Theta Generation v4.2 using the testbench provided in the user manual, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Libero SoC Catalog tab in the Libero software.
2. Expand Solutions-MotorControl and double click on Stepper Theta Generation, then click OK. The documentation associated with the IP will be listed under Documentation.
3. On the Stimulus Hierarchy tab, select the testbench file (stepper_theta_tb.v).
4. Right-click on the selected testbench file and click on "Simulate Pre-Synth Design > Open Interactively".
5. ModelSim will open with the testbench file loaded for simulation.
If you cannot see the Catalog tab or Stimulus Hierarchy tab, you can make them visible by navigating to the View > Windows menu and selecting the respective tab.
During simulation, if the process is interrupted due to a runtime limit specified in the .do file, you can use the "run all" command in ModelSim to complete the simulation successfully.
