To change the communication mode from Analog to Modbus or vice versa on the PSC6194 Controller, follow these steps as outlined in the user manual:
1. **Analog to Modbus Configuration:**
- Open communication using FlowDDE.
- Navigate to the FLOW-BUS tab or press F6.
- Select parameters to view simultaneously: Parameter 7 (InitReset) and Parameter 12 (IO Status).
- Set InitReset to 64 (unlocked).
- Read the IO Status parameter.
- Subtract 64 from the read value to get the new parameter value (either 15 or 11).
- Write the new value to the IO Status parameter.
- Set InitReset to 82 (locked).
- Restart the Bronkhorst instrument.
2. **Modbus to Analog Configuration:**
- Open communication using FlowDDE.
- Navigate to the FLOW-BUS tab or press F6.
- Select parameters to view simultaneously: Parameter 7 (InitReset) and Parameter 12 (IO Status).
- Set InitReset to 64 (unlocked).
- Read the IO Status parameter.
- Add 64 to the read value to get the new parameter value (e.g., 79).
- Write the new value to the IO Status parameter.
- Set InitReset to 82 (locked).
- Restart the Bronkhorst instrument.
Remember, the InitReset parameter must be unlocked/locked for the new Control Mode to remain after the instrument is restarted.
