According to the user manual for the ROPOX 6092 Smartbox II 30-69002, here is how you can connect multiple Smartboxes in a system:
1. **Connection between several Smartboxes:**
- When installing multiple Smartboxes in a system, ensure they are connected via a communication cable.
- After installing all Ropox products in the kitchen, connect all Smartboxes together.
- The system will register any activation of a safety stop in the network and stop all movements until the jamming situation is resolved.
- If a safety stop is activated, the corresponding Smartbox will start flashing. If the issue is not resolved after approximately 2 minutes, the Smartbox will start beeping.
2. **Coupling of 6 Smartboxes:**
- In a system with multiple tabletops and cabinets, ensure all Smartboxes are connected by a communication line.
- Smartboxes must be connected in series, moving from one Smartbox to the next.
- Between each moving part/product, insert a spiral cord to allow independent movement.
- Before connecting mains voltage, ensure all contacts are set to the center.
- Once connected, the Smartboxes will beep until the end-Smartboxes are set, at which point the beeping will stop.
3. **Setting of Smartboxes in the system:**
- Each Smartbox must be set depending on its location in the system.
- If a Smartbox is the first or last in the system (End-Smartbox), the slide contact must be set to the left.
- If a Smartbox is in the middle of the system, the slide contact must be set to the right.
By following these guidelines from the manual, users can effectively connect multiple Smartboxes in a system to create a safety network for their Ropox height-adjustable kitchen products.
