To install the HOCHIKI FireNET Graphix Intelligent Fire Alarm hardware, follow these steps as outlined in the user guide:
1. **Hardware Installation:**
- Remove power from the panel before installing the dongle.
- Install the dongle in the enclosure using the provided mounting screws.
- Connect 24 VDC power to the X3 connector on the dongle, ensuring correct polarity.
- Connect the ribbon cable between the X2 connector on the dongle and the FireNET panel J5 (PC) connector.
- Install a four-conductor RS485 cable from the X4 terminal on the dongle to the computer, connecting it to the terminals marked T+, T-, R+, and R-.
