To add additional storage to your eufy S380 HomeBase security device, follow these steps as outlined in the user manual:
1. **Prepare Your Hard Drive:**
- Your hard drive must be a 2.5-inch hard disk drive (HDD) or solid-state drive (SSD) that uses the SATA interface.
- Recommended brands include Western Digital, Seagate, SAMSUNG, Kingston, PNY, Crucial, and SanDisk.
- Transfer all data from your hard drive to a secure location before adding it to the S380 HomeBase.
2. **Install Your Hard Drive:**
- Ensure the S380 HomeBase is powered off.
- Push down the top lid to remove it.
- Loosen the xxxx and pull out the hard drive bracket.
- Fix your hard drive to the bracket with the provided screws.
- Insert and xxxx the bracket back into the S380 HomeBase, then put the top lid back in place.
- You can repeat these steps to expand storage when needed.
- A new hard drive must be initialized through the eufy Security app to work with the S380 HomeBase.
