1. **Unwind the cable:** Before using the Pool Cleaner for the first time, unwind the cable and stretch it out completely to ensure there are no kinks.
2. **Remove plastic coverings on brushes:** Some models may arrive with plastic coverings on the brushes. Remove these coverings before use.
3. **Prepare the handle and float:** While pushing in the handle buttons, turn the ring so that the large projection on the ring lines up with the projection on the Pool Cleaner body. While pushing the button on each float, pull it all the way out.
4. **Position the power supply:** Place the power supply approximately in the middle of the long side of the pool at a distance of 3.5 m (12 ft).
5. **Attach the floating cable to the power supply:** Insert the floating cable notch on the connector and line it up with the groove in the socket on the power supply. Turn clockwise to secure it.
6. **Plug in the power supply:** Leave the power supply in the OFF position.
7. **Putting the Pool Cleaner into the pool:**
- Hold the Pool Cleaner upside down in the water and gently rock it back and forth to release trapped air.
- If your Pool Cleaner has brushes with sponges, dip the brushes in water and squeeze them to absorb water.
- Release the Pool Cleaner into the pool, ensuring the floating cable is free of obstructions.
8. **Turn the power supply ON:** The Pool Cleaner will now operate until it completes the cleaning cycle.
