To switch between different modes on the Pacto 2000H 2 Player Control Interface for Arcade Cabinets, you have several options:
1. **Shortcuts:** You can use shortcuts by holding various start and select buttons for 8 seconds to switch between modes. Refer to Table 2 in the user guide for the mode selection shortcuts.
2. **Dedicated Mode Controls:** You can use dedicated mode buttons or switches to enter each mode. Each mode button or switch is connected to its respective input pin on one side and ground on the other side. Refer to Table 3 in the user guide for the dedicated mode selection input pins.
3. **Interlock Mode:** The Interlock mode helps avoid accidentally exiting games by pressing start and select at the same time. This mode is recommended for CoinOps, Hyperspin, or RetroFE users. To activate Interlock mode, jumper the "INT" pin to ground.
4. **Twinstick Mode:** Twinstick mode combines 2 joysticks and buttons to behave as the player 1 Xbox controller. This mode is suitable for playing MAME Twinstick games or flying games. To enable Twinstick mode, ground the "!TS" pin and connect the "TS" pin to a switch, then connect the other side of the switch to ground.
5. **Disconnect Mode:** Disconnect mode completely removes the Xbox control interfaces from the computer, allowing other controllers like wireless Xbox controllers to be used. To enter Disconnect mode, ground the "!TS" pin and connect the "DIS" pin to a switch, then connect the other side of the switch to ground.
6. **Turbo Mode:** Turbo mode pulses button inputs 15 times per second, which is helpful for games that require rapid button pressing. To enable Turbo mode, ground the "!TURB" pin and connect the "TURBO" pin to a switch, then connect the other side of the switch to ground.
7. **8 to 6 Mode:** If your cabinet is wired with the modern 8 button fight stick style, you can use the 8 to 6 mode to make your buttons behave like the typical 6 button configuration for the left-most 6 buttons. To enable 8 to 6 mode, ground the "!TURB" pin and connect the "8TO6" pin to a switch, then connect the other side of the switch to ground.
Please refer to the user guide for detailed wiring instructions and additional information on each mode and its functionality.
