To verify that the AVS22 Linkage is installed correctly, follow these steps:
1. **Valve-Linkage Assembly:**
- Ensure the square linkage with 3 xxxx holes is securely attached to the valve using the 3 x M4 Phillips head screws.
- Confirm that the xxxx holes of the linkage align perfectly with the holes on the valve.
- Check that the valve is in the desired configuration (Normally Open or Normally Closed) as per the pre-installation procedure.
2. **Actuator-Linkage Assembly:**
- Make sure the linkage with 4 xxxx holes is correctly attached to the actuator using the 4 x M3 Phillips head screws.
- Verify that the xxxx holes of the linkage align properly with the holes on the actuator.
- Tighten the screws in an "X" pattern as shown in the instructions.
3. **Connecting Valve and Actuator:**
- Insert the shaft into the linkage in the valve, ensuring it is diagonal to the square linkage.
- Connect the bottom and top linkages securely.
- Press down the actuator on the valve and insert the Cotter Pin into the slot.
- Verify that the linkage alignment is correct.
4. **Final Checks:**
- Ensure all components are securely fastened and there are no loose connections.
- Double-check that the valve and actuator are in the desired positions (Normally Open or Normally Closed) based on your setup requirements.
- Test the operation of the valve and actuator to ensure they function as intended.
