To properly connect and configure the FETTEC 4in1 ESC 65A with your flight controller, follow these key steps and considerations based on the user manual:
1. **Connection to Flight Controller:**
- Connect Signal 1-4 from the ESC to the corresponding motor outputs on your flight controller.
- Connect the TLM wire from the ESC to an available serial TX pin on your flight controller.
2. **Additional Capacitor Requirement:**
- For 4-6S usage, a minimum 470uF capacitor with 50V and ESR < 1ohm is required. It is recommended to use the provided capacitor that comes with the ESC.
- For 8S usage, it is necessary to use the capacitor. Ensure that your flight controller can run on 8S and that the FETTEC FCs need an extra BEC.
3. **Configuration in Betaflight:**

- Use the FETtec Configurator to adjust various ESC parameters such as rotation direction, slow start, PWM signal range, ESC beep, current calibration, ESC ID, and telemetry settings.
6. **Dimension and Mounting:**
- The maximum outside dimensions of the ESC are 38 x 48mm with a mounting hole arrangement of 30.5 x 30.5mm (expandable to M4).
- The weight of the ESC is 13.6g. Do not file the mounting holes as this may cause damage.
