According to the user manual for the PureZone Elite 4-In-1 True HEPA Air Purifier, it is recommended to change the True HEPA filter and activated carbon pre-filter after approximately 6 months of usage. However, more frequent filter changes may be necessary if the air purifier is used in an area with high levels of airborne contaminants such as smoke or pet dander.
The air purifier is equipped with a "Change Filter Indicator" that will alert you when it's time to replace the filters. When the HEPA indicator light turns red, it indicates that it's time to replace the True HEPA filter. Similarly, when the PRE indicator light turns red, it signifies that it's time to replace the Activated Carbon Pre-filter.
To reset the filter indicator light after replacing the filters, you can press and hold the Timer and UV buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. This action will reset the indicator light, ensuring that the unit recognizes the new filters.
Remember to always ensure that the air purifier is turned off and unplugged before changing the filters to prevent any accidents or damage to the unit.
