To configure the FlexStat controller for remote temperature sensing, follow these steps:
1. Ensure you have the optional remote temperature sensor available.
2. Connect the remote temperature sensor to the IN7 terminal on the FlexStat controller.
3. Access the configuration settings on the controller.
4. Locate the option for temperature sensor configuration.
5. Select the appropriate setting based on your preference:
- Onboard (internal) sensor
- Remote sensor
- Averaging of internal and remote sensors
- Lowest reading between internal and remote sensors
- Highest reading between internal and remote sensors
6. Save the configuration settings.
7. Test the temperature readings to ensure the remote sensor is functioning correctly.
