To install the Extreme Networks AP5010 or AP5010U access points in a non-standard ceiling grid or on a wall, follow these steps as per the user manual:
1. **Non-Standard Ceiling Grid Installation:**
- Refer to the 802.11ax and Cloud Access Points Accessories Guide for detailed instructions.
- Use appropriate accessories for non-standard ceiling grid installations.
- Ensure you have the necessary brackets and accessories for the installation.
2. **Wall Installation:**
- For wall installations, use the ACC-BKT-AX-JB bracket as the default bracket.
- If you already have the AH-ACC-BKT-AX-WL bracket, you can use it for wall installations.
- Order the -JB bracket for new wall installations.
3. **Locking the Access Point after Installation:**
- Secure the access point using the Kensington lock located on the side of the device.
- The Kensington lock is a security feature to prevent unauthorized removal of the access point from its mounting location.
