When using the for the first time, it's important to ensure that the CO2 is flowing properly into the tire before fully inflating it. Here's how you can check if the inflator is working correctly:
1. Open the Presta valve on the tire and tap the tip of the inflator to ensure that air can move freely.
2. Thread the CO2 cartridge into the bottom of the inflator until it punctures the cartridge.
3. Flip the Control Lever around into the inflation position.
4. Thread the nozzle of the inflator onto the Presta valve of the tire.
5. Press the Control Lever to release a short burst of CO2 into the tube. You should hear the air flowing into the tire.
6. If you hear and feel the CO2 flowing properly, continue to inflate the tire to the desired pressure. If you do not feel the CO2 flowing or hear any leaks, stop and check the connection between the inflator and the valve.
7. Once the tire is fully inflated, unthread the nozzle from the Presta valve.
By following these steps and ensuring that the CO2 is flowing correctly at the beginning, you can prevent any issues with inflating your tire using the PDW Cloud Cap CO2 Inflator.
