To switch between shortcut key mode and standard function key mode on the Macally UCZKEYSG-FR keyboard, follow these steps:
1. **Shortcut Key Mode:** By default, the keyboard is set to shortcut key mode, where the top row keys function as shortcuts for specific tasks. To use the shortcut keys, simply press the desired key combination (e.g., F1 for decreasing brightness, F2 for increasing brightness, etc.).
2. **Standard Function Key Mode:** To switch to standard function key mode (F1-F15), press the "Fn" key and the "Esc" key simultaneously. The Fn Lock LED will turn on, indicating that you are now in standard function key mode. In this mode, the top row keys will function as standard function keys.
3. **Switching Back:** If you want to switch back to shortcut key mode, press the "Fn" key and the "Esc" key simultaneously again. The Fn Lock LED will turn off, indicating that you have returned to shortcut key mode.
4. **Note:** When you start/restart your computer or unplug the keyboard, the top row keys will automatically revert to shortcut key mode. You can switch between the two modes as needed using the "Fn" and "Esc" key combination.
