To change the battery in the Regin EC-PU4-2 Processor Unit, follow these steps as outlined in the manual:
1. **Caution:** Follow proper ESD precautions when changing the battery; use an earthed wristband or similar protection.
2. Remove the DIN lock.
3. Gently bend the corners of the lid outwards.
4. Remove the lid.
5. Pull the old battery straight up from the holder, noting the polarity.
6. Insert the new battery firmly in place.
7. Align the notches on the lid with the holes and snap it on the opposite side.
8. Mount the DIN lock.
**Note:** If the battery is placed incorrectly, the system status indicator will turn red to indicate a battery error. If a battery is not mounted, the system status indicator will not indicate a battery error.
Remember to use the specified battery type as mentioned in Appendix A of the manual for the EC-PU4-2 Processor Unit.
