To program additional transmitters for your PRESTIGE APS-45C Keyless Entry System, follow these steps as outlined in the owner's manual:
1. Ensure the system is unlocked or disarmed and turn the ignition key to the on position.
2. Press and release the Program/Override push-button switch three times. The system will indicate it is in the transmitter program mode by flashing the parking lights and/or beeping the horn once. The LED will also flash to indicate you are in the transmitter program mode.
3. Press and hold the lock button on each additional transmitter you wish to operate your system.
- The system can store up to 4 transmitters. If you add a fifth transmitter, the first one programmed will be replaced.
4. Once all transmitters have been programmed, turn the ignition switch off to exit the program mode.
If you need to prioritize transmitters for multiple vehicle operation, follow these additional steps:
1. Program the default button combination for the main vehicle.
2. To program the second vehicle, repeat the process but use a different combination of buttons to avoid interference between vehicles.
To delete a transmitter from your system:
1. Enter the transmitter program mode of channel 1.
2. Press and hold any transmitter button that has not been programmed until you hear a chirp, then release and press the same button again until you hear a long chirp followed by a short chirp to erase the transmitter.
If you are uncomfortable with these programming steps, contact your installation center or the technical service number provided in the manual for assistance.
