To program, commission, and troubleshoot the BELIMO PMBUP-MFT-T PKB and PMB Actuators using Near Field Communication (NFC), follow these steps:
1. **NFC Programming**: NFC allows fast programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Even when the actuator is not powered, it can be programmed using the ZIP-BT-NFC and Belimo Assistant App.
2. **Manual Adjustment**: The actuator's position can be manually adjusted using the hand crank. Ensure that the caps are securely fastened after use. The signal will be overridden when the hand crank is engaged in the port closest to the junction box.
3. **Auxiliary Switch Adjustment**: The actuator comes with two built-in auxiliary switches (2x SPDT) for end position indication, interlock control, fan startup, etc. To adjust the auxiliary switch:
- Disconnect power.
- Open the auxiliary switch adjustment cover and properly seat the hand crank into the actuator.
- Turn the crank until the arrow points to the vertical line.
- Connect a continuity tester to S4 + S5 or S4 + S6. If the auxiliary switch should switch in the opposite direction, rotate the hand crank by 180˚.
4. **LED Display**: The actuator features LED displays for status indication:
- Green LED: Off indicates no power supply or malfunction, On indicates operation. Pressing the button triggers a test run followed by standard mode.
- Yellow LED: Off indicates standard mode, On indicates an active test run.
Remember to follow all safety precautions, disconnect power before making any adjustments, and refer to the manufacturer's recommendations for torque and wiring diagrams. If unsure, consult a qualified electrician or technician for assistance.
