To expand your input options beyond the 8 channels provided by a single MCM-8 II unit, you can connect additional units together using the pair of AUX IN L & R Inputs located on the back of each unit. By daisy chaining multiple MCM-8 II units, you can effectively increase the number of inputs available for processing by 500 Series modules. This setup allows all inputs to be summed together into a stereo mix for output.
Here's how you can connect multiple MCM-8 II units:
1. Connect the AUX IN L & R Outputs of one MCM-8 II unit to the AUX IN L & R Inputs of another MCM-8 II unit using appropriate cables.
2. Ensure that each MCM-8 II unit has its 500 Series modules connected and activated by pressing the '500' button for each channel.
3. Adjust the Pan and Fader controls on each slot as needed for proper mixing and processing.
4. Use the Stereo Master fader to control the overall output level of the summed signals.
