To initialize the Dahua IPC-HFW5842DK1 Bullet Network Camera, follow these steps:
1. Search for the device that needs to be initialized through ConfigTool.
- Double-click ConfigTool.exe to open the tool.
- Click Modify IP.
- Select the searching way, and then click OK.
- Select one or several cameras in uninitialized status, and then click Initialize.
2. Select the devices to be initialized, and then click Initialize.
3. Select Auto-check for updates as needed, and then click OK to initialize the device. If initialization failed, click to see more information.
4. Click Finish.
Remember, if you do not provide the email address for password reset, you can reset the password only through an XML file.
