1. **Installing the Antennas:**
- To install the antennas, xxxx them onto the Wi-Fi ports located on the rear of the unit.
- Adjust the antennas to be approximately 90 degrees to the base of the unit for optimal signal reception.
2. **Locating the Power Center Hub:**
- It is recommended to place the Power Center Hub as close as physically possible to the PV array to ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal to the microinverters.
- For rooftop PV arrays on wood roof construction, install the unit on the floor nearest the roof and central to the array.
- For roof types like concrete forms or standing seam metal, temporary placement may be needed to establish the strongest signal before permanent installation.
3. **Proximity to the Internet Router:**
- The Power Center Hub can communicate with the router via hard-wired ethernet or Wi-Fi.
- If the Wi-Fi signal between the router and the gateway is weak, consider relocating the router, using an ethernet cable to hardwire the gateway, or installing a third-party Wi-Fi bridge/repeater.
4. **Mapping the Power Center Hub to the PV Array:**
- Remove the serial number label from the back of the unit and paste it onto the same sheet used to map the microinverters during installation.
- Ensure the mapping process is accurate to link the Power Center Hub to the specific microinverters in the PV array.
