To adjust the ALC control switch on the PENTAIR Myers ALC Adjustable Level Sealed Sump Level Control, follow these steps:
1. **Mounting:** Ensure the switch is mounted correctly on the discharge pipe or through a flange on the pump cover as per the provided instructions. Position the weights on the support cable so that they hang freely without touching the pump or basin walls. The lower weight should be at least 4 inches off the sump bottom, and the top of the upper weight should be below the bottom of the inlet pipe.

The pump should start when about half of the upper weight is submerged and stop when about half of the lower weight is out of the water. If the pump does not operate as expected, check for issues like blown fuses, tripped circuit breakers, or defective pumps.
5. **Dismantling for Cleaning or Parts Replacement:** If needed, you can dismantle the switch for cleaning or parts replacement. Follow the provided instructions to disassemble and reassemble the switch correctly.
