**Commissioning - Energizing:**
1. The Sepam supply voltage should be between 24 V DC and 250 V DC.
2. After switching on the Sepam, it will perform an initialization sequence that takes approximately 5 seconds.
3. The sequence includes the following steps:
- The device turns on, and LEDs light up with "Sepam" displayed on the screen.
- The LED switches off.
- The watchdog contact picks up.
4. The first screen displayed after the sequence is the phase current metering screen.
**Diagnosis:**
1. At the end of the initialization sequence, the LED should be off.
2. If the LED is flashing, a minor fault is detected, and Sepam is in downgraded operation. Check the connection of the MET148-2, MSA141, and MCS025 modules.
3. If the LED is steadily on, a major fault is detected, and Sepam is in failsafe position. Check that the CCA630, CCA634, or CCA671 input connectors are plugged in and the connection of the strap between terminals 19 and 20 of the connector (DPC).
4. If the LED remains on, refer to the "Maintenance" chapter of the operating manual.
5. If the "LOW BATTERY" message appears, check that the battery is present and in the correct position with matching polarities.
For more detailed information or troubleshooting steps, refer to the operating manual provided with the Schneider Electric Easergy Sepam Series 80 device.
