To rename your BTC-2X Bluetooth Remote Transceiver to a user-friendly name, follow these steps:
1. Download and install the Russound BTC-2X Naming App from either the App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Ensure that the BTC-2X is powered up, within Bluetooth range, and already paired to your phone.
3. Open the BTC-2X Naming App on your phone.
4. The app will automatically detect all Russound BTC-2X devices within range. You can refresh the screen by swiping down in the app.
5. Once your BTC-2X is discovered, select it and tap "Connect."
6. After establishing a connection, you can enter a new Bluetooth name (up to 15 characters long) and tap "Enter."
7. Your BTC-2X will now be configured with the new user-friendly name, making it easier to identify on your devices.
Note: It is recommended to choose a unique name to avoid confusion with other Bluetooth devices in your home.
