To connect your Lenco LS-50 Turntable with USB Connection to your computer for recording with Audacity, follow these steps:
1. Connect an input source to the turntable.
2. Connect the USB lead from the turntable to your computer.
3. Install the Audacity recording software on your computer.
4. Open the Audacity program.
5. In Audacity, go to the Edit tab and select Preferences.
6. In the Preferences window, navigate to the Audio I/O tab at the top left.
7. Under Playback Device, select your internal sound card.
8. Under Recording Device, select USB Audio CODEC.
9. Under Recording Channels, select 2 (Stereo).
10. Check the box marked "Play other tracks while recording new one."
11. Check the box marked "Software Playthrough."
Now you are ready to record albums with Audacity using your Lenco LS-50 Turntable. Simply set up your turntable to play the song or album you want to record, click on the red Record button in Audacity to begin recording, lower the tone arm onto the album or track, and click on the yellow Stop button when finished recording.
Remember that you can save your project in Audacity by selecting Save Project as from the File tab. Please note that Audacity does not have direct CD burning capabilities, so you will need to use other CD burning applications for that purpose.
