To install and set up the Ei408 Switched Input Module, follow these steps as outlined in the user manual:
1. Install all other RF devices that will be part of the system before installing the Ei408 Module.
2. Remove the front plate of the Ei408 and fix the back-box to a solid surface using the provided screws.
3. Run wiring from the Volt-Free switched contacts to the terminal block on the Ei408.
4. Switch on the built-in battery by sliding the yellow battery switch to the "on" position.
5. Press and hold the House Code button until the red light on the Ei408 illuminates solidly, then release the button.
6. xxxx the front plate back onto the back-box.
7. Put all other RF devices into House Code mode within 15 minutes of step 5.
8. Check the number of light flashes on each RF device to ensure they correspond to the number of devices in the system.
9. Remove the Ei408 from House Code mode if necessary by repeating the process in step 5.
10. Remove all other RF devices from House Code mode.
Note: Ensure the Ei408 is not mounted close to metal objects and follow the specific instructions for House Coding and testing as detailed in the manual.
