To upgrade the firmware on your FS S3200 Series switch using web management, follow these steps:
1. Connect Equipment:
- Connect one end of an RJ-45 cable to your PC's network port and the other end to the Manage interface of the S3200-8MG4S switch.
- Connect one end of the console line USB to your PC's USB interface and the other end of the RJ-45 connector to the console interface of the switch.
2. Download Related Software:
- Search and install SecureCRT debugging software and Tftpd32 file transfer software through Google.
3. Configure Computer IP:
- Open Network and internet configuration on your computer and select 'Change adapter options'.
- Double-click 'Ethernet' -> Select 'Properties' -> Double-click 'Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP / IPV4)' -> Select 'Use the following IP address' and modify the IP address to be in the same network segment as the switch (default IP for the switch is 192.168.1.1).
4. Configure Software Parameters:
- Check the COM port corresponding to the console line in the device manager on your PC.
- Open SecureCRT, select the serial port login method, choose the serial number from the device manager, set the baud rate to 115200, and do not select flow control.
5. Login Switch:
- Start the switch and when it displays "Hit Esc key to stop autoboot: 1", press the "ESC" button to enter the command line.
6. Configure Port of the Network Card Connection Device for the Server:
- Initialize the port of the server network card connection device using appropriate commands.
7. Configure Tftpd32 Software:
- Open Tftpd32 software, set the server interface as the local IP address of the computer, and select the location where the firmware file is stored.
8. Upgrade the System Firmware:
- Upload the firmware file to the switch for upgrade using the command: `RTL9310# upgrade image 192.168.1.88:S3200-Series-Switch-FSOS-v1.0.1.11-Release(221128).bix`.
9. Restart the Device:
- After uploading the firmware, restart the device using the command: `RTL9310# reset`.
10. Enter Web Interface:
- After the restart, enter the Administrator IP address (192.168.1.88) in the URL bar of your browser, and log in using the default username and password (admin/admin).
