To start recording data with the Major Tech MT250 AC Voltage-Current Data Logger, follow these steps:
1. Ensure Proper Connection: Before recording data, make sure the sensors (voltage sensor or current sensor) have been securely connected to the data logger. Ensure that the wires are securely attached to the connector and that no uninsulated portion of the wire is visible after the connection is made.
2. Power On the Data Logger: Press the ON/OFF & data logger status button to power on the device. The LCD display will show the channel data being recorded. If it displays "CHC," it means it will record or start recording the current data. "CHC-F" indicates it has recorded the current data and stopped. Similarly, "CHV" and "CHV-F" represent voltage data recording status.
3. Select Recording Mode: Press the Function switch button to switch the display to current or voltage data. If the corresponding sensor is not connected, it will display "-CH-."
4. Start Manual Recording: Press the Date/Time & START/STOP button for 3 seconds to initiate manual recording. The LCD will show "REC" to indicate that recording has started. To pause recording, press the same button for 3 seconds, and "REC" will stop.
5. Ensure Continuous Data Recording: If the sensor gets disconnected during the measurement process, the data logger will stop recording. Make sure the sensors remain connected throughout the recording session.
6. Data Memory and Transmission: When the memory is full, the data logger will stop recording and turn off. To download data to a PC, turn on the data logger. After a new setup via PC software, all existing data in the data logger will be deleted.
By following these steps, you can effectively start recording data with the Major Tech MT250 AC Voltage-Current Data Logger. For more detailed instructions on setup, operation, and data download, refer to the instruction manual provided with the product.
