To switch between forehead mode and object mode on the Veroval Baby Infrared Thermometer, you need to use the mode switch located on the side of the thermometer.
- Forehead Mode: To measure body temperature on the forehead, ensure the mode switch is in the correct position for forehead mode. This mode allows you to measure body temperature in the range of 34.0 °C to 42.2 °C.
- Object Mode: To measure the surface temperature of objects, push the mode switch downwards towards the object symbol. In object mode, you can measure temperatures in the range of 0 °C to 100 °C.
Remember to maintain the correct measuring distance between the thermometer and the skin or object (3 cm – 5 cm) for accurate measurements. Additionally, ensure the thermometer is acclimatized to the room temperature before taking readings in object mode.
