If the SmartCell Sounder and Ceiling Beacon device has been locked, follow these steps to unlock it:
1. Identify Locking Mechanism: The device includes an optional locking mechanism that needs to be disengaged before unlocking the device.
2. Use Allen Key: An Allen key is required for unlocking the device. Ensure you have the appropriate size of Allen key for this purpose.
3. Unlocking Process:
- Locate the thin section of plastic on the device that covers the locking mechanism.
- Insert the Allen key or a similar tool into the device's cavity and push to depress the locking mechanism (A).
- Simultaneously twist the device anti-clockwise to release it (B).
4. Reassemble Device: Once the device is unlocked, reassemble it as per the installation instructions provided in the manual.
