To select the desired DC output voltage for the Altronix MaximalFEV Expandable Power Systems, follow these steps:
1. Locate the SW1 switch on the power supply board.
2. For models Maximal11FEV, Maximal13FEV, Maximal33FEV, Maximal35FEV, and Maximal37FEV, set SW1 to the appropriate position based on the desired output voltage. Refer to the MaximalFEV Series Configuration Chart on page 4 of the manual for specific voltage options.
3. For the Maximal55FEV model, the power supply is factory set at 12VDC, and for the Maximal77FEV model, it is factory set at 24VDC.
4. For the Maximal75FEV model, the power supply is factory set at both 12VDC and 24VDC.
It is essential to measure the output voltage before connecting devices to ensure that the correct voltage is being supplied. Connecting devices to the terminals marked [– DC +] is recommended for standard device connection. For auxiliary device connection, use the terminals marked [+ AUX –], which are not affected by Low Power Disconnect or Fire Alarm Interface.
Always refer to the product manual for specific instructions and consult a qualified service personnel for installation and servicing.
