To convert any stackable unit from the IKEA HAVSTA Storage Series into a standalone unit, you can add the base frame in the compatible size (sold separately). The base frame provides stability and allows you to use the unit as a standalone piece of furniture. Simply attach the base frame to the bottom of the stackable unit according to the assembly instructions provided in the manual. This will enable you to use the unit independently without the need for stacking or mounting it on another piece of furniture.
