To connect multiple Hubble Lithium AM-4 batteries in parallel, follow these steps as outlined in the user manual:
1. Use the supplied RJ45 to RJ45 (normal LAN cable) to link the batteries. Plug one end into the master "Battery Link" and the other end into battery #2. Continue this step until all the batteries are linked up.
2. Wire up the DC block terminals of each battery to the inverter/charger.
3. Configure each battery address to enable proper setup and communication. Each battery needs a unique serial address for communication. If you are using only one battery, set the battery address to 1.
4. Ensure the negatives and positives are connected to common buzz bars when linking parallel batteries.
5. If you do not have a battery link cable or need a longer cable, you can use a standard computer LAN cable to connect each battery. The pin layouts for the ports are the same as the universal LAN cable.
It is important to follow these steps carefully to ensure proper communication and functionality of the batteries in your system. If you encounter any difficulties during the setup process, you can contact the Hubble Lithium Technical Support Department for assistance.
