The installation of the ProBEAM Dynamic Strips LED Turn Signals on your motorcycle requires a careful and systematic approach. Here are the step-by-step instructions based on the provided manual:
1. Remove the existing turn signal assembly from the fork by unscrewing the nuts that secure it.
2. Unplug the wiring connector from the turn signal assembly.
3. Remove the mounting studs on the fork using a wrench or socket.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 for the opposing side turn signal assembly.
5. Remove the top T27 Torx bolts from the outer fairing and remove the windshield.
6. Reinstall the center T27 Torx bolt to secure the fairing while removing the inner fairing bolts.
7. Remove the T27 Torx bolts from the left and right side of the inner fairing.
8. Disconnect the connector from the headlamp and lay the fairing on a flat surface.
9. Plug the male connector of the AW Converter harness into the female connector on the turn signal factory wiring harness.
10. Plug the male plug on the ProBEAM Dynamic Strips harness into the hole in the fork frame and connect it to the female connector of the AW Converter.
11. Install the ProBEAM Dynamic Strips onto the fork frame using the provided button head bolts and washers.
12. Secure the wiring harnesses and converters with the provided wire ties to prevent damage during fairing installation.
13. Reinstall the fairing and windshield in the reverse order of removal, ensuring proper bolt placement.
14. Run the hazard flashers with the ignition off for 3 minutes to sync the BCM with the ProBEAM Dynamic Strips.
15. Check for proper operation of all lighting modes.
