If your Rain Bird UFS Series Ultrasonic Flow Sensor is not registering flow readings on your irrigation controller, you can follow these troubleshooting steps as outlined in the user manual:
1. **Confirm Minimum Flow Rates:** Ensure that the expected flow rates in your system are above the minimum recommended flow rates for the UFS Series. This helps purge any air out of the line and ensures accurate readings.

- Measure the open circuit voltage on the controller's sensor input terminals to ensure it is between 8-24V DC for the sensor to operate.

- If LED 1 is illuminated, check if the controller is registering expected flow readings. If not, disconnect the UFS from the decoder and short the wires to test flow recognition.
- If LED 1 is not illuminated, measure the voltage from the decoder to the UFS. If the voltage is below 8V DC, there may be an issue with the power supply to the sensor.
