According to the user manual, the detection threshold of the Velleman VMA330 IR Obstacle Avoidance Sensor Module can be adjusted using two trimmers. These trimmers are labeled as adjustment R5 for frequency adjustment (38 kHz) and adjustment R6 for IR LED duty cycle adjustment. By adjusting these trimmers, you can fine-tune the detection threshold of the sensor to suit your specific project requirements.
To adjust the detection threshold:
1. Locate the trimmers R5 and R6 on the module.
2. Use a small screwdriver to carefully turn the trimmers in the desired direction to increase or decrease the detection threshold.
