To program the remote control for your Hunter Pacific Creation v2 Ceiling Fan, follow these steps as outlined in the instruction manual:
1. **Handset Battery Installation/Replacement:**
- Open the battery compartment on the remote control by pushing the cover away from you.
- Unwrap the plastic from around the new batteries (if wrapped) and observe polarity to ensure proper installation.
- Slide the cover back into place.
2. **Adding a Replacement Handset:**
- Turn off power to the fan at the isolation/wall switch and wait for 30 seconds, then turn the power back on.
- Press and hold the “Forward/Reverse” button until you hear one beep from the receiver. The remote will now be linked to the fan.
3. **Adding an accessory 240V DC Wall Controller (sold separately):**
- Turn off power to the fan at the isolation/wall switch and wait for 30 seconds, then turn the power back on.
- Press and hold the “Forward/Reverse” button for 5 seconds until the fan beeps once. The DC Wall Controller will now be linked to the fan.
4. **Note:** If the 240V DC Wall Controller is fitted, there will only be 6 speeds and 6 settings of dimming available. No LED color changing is available via the 240V DC Wall Controller, this is only via the remote handset.
5. **Additional Information:**
- The 9-speed handset will still have all the functions even with the addition of a DC Wall Controller.
- Ensure that the mains power to the control module is switched on/off via an isolation switch, not the buttons on the handset.
