To set up the Maytronics Dolphin Wave 50 Pool Cleaner for the first time, follow these steps as outlined in the instruction manual:
1. Unwind the cable completely to ensure there are no kinks.
2. Attach the floating cable to the power supply by aligning the notch on the connector with the groove in the socket and turning it clockwise.
3. Remove any plastic coverings from the pool cleaner before use.
4. Adjust the handle angle for water line movement by pressing the latch down, moving the handle to the desired position, and releasing the latch to hold it in place.
- Position 1 and 2: Normal advance for efficient cleaning action on the waterline.
- Position 3 and 4: Fast advance for faster but less efficient cleaning action on the waterline.
5. If the foam climbing rings on the brushes are dry, soak them in water until soft.
6. Shake the robot from side to side or turn it upside down to release trapped air and let it sink to the pool floor.
7. Turn the power supply ON to start the cleaning cycle.
