In the BRiARPATCH 00730 Roll and Match Math Game, the Target Number is determined by rolling the Jumbo Number Dice. All players must quickly calculate the Target Number based on the numbers shown on the dice. Younger players are encouraged to use addition, while older players can use either addition or multiplication to find the Target Number.
Once the Target Number is established, players need to add, subtract, multiply, or divide the numbers on the Number Cards to create a solution that comes closest to the Target Number. Players can combine as many Number Cards as they wish to form their solution, using each Number Card only once.
The first player to yell "Math Match!" can win the round by describing how their solution most closely matches the Target Number. If the first player cannot make an exact match, another player has 10 seconds to describe a closer or exact match. The player with the solution closest to the Target Number wins the round and gets to keep the Number Cards used in the solution as score points.
Players can get creative and combine multiple Number Cards to earn more points. Remember to replenish the Number Cards in the line before each round and keep track of scores to determine the winner at the end of five rounds.
