To test the Ei407 Manual Call Point, follow these steps:
1. Check that the light on the front of the Manual Call Point flashes green every 40 seconds, indicating it has power.
2. Press the black spot on the Manual Call Point. The white element will drop down, exposing the yellow edge, indicating activation. The light will turn red and stay on continuously for 3 seconds, then continue to flash red every 45 seconds for 5 minutes, indicating the transmission of the alarm signal.
3. Check that all RF units are in alarm. If some alarms have not been activated, repeat the House Coding procedure.
4. Reset the Manual Call Point using the plastic key provided. Push the forked end into the slots, pull the bottom housing down, remove the key, push the bottom housing firmly against the back, and slide upwards to reset the switch.
5. If the Manual Call Point is not reset, the light will flash red every 40 seconds as a reminder.
6. On reset, the alarm cancel signal will be transmitted, indicated by a single red light flash for 3 seconds. If the light flashes amber every 9 seconds, it indicates depleted batteries, and the unit must be returned for repair or replacement.
