To build a fixture using the TRAN LED WD24/6.0 Strip, follow these steps:
1. Fill out the ordering code on the STRIP cutsheet, selecting "MATCH" for the desired illuminated length (in). This will create a strip that will be fitted and installed into an extrusion. Note that the strip will stop just short of the extrusion's endcaps.
2. Fill out the ordering code for the EXTRUSION cutsheet and choose a non-encapsulated lens option such as Clear, Frosted, Polar, or Diffused.
3. The TRAN LED WD24/6.0 Strip is rated for dry locations and has 2" cutpoints, allowing you to customize the length as needed. It is field cuttable, and lengths of up to 192" are possible.
4. If you require wet location usage, the strip can be enclosed in silicone sleeving. The wet-rated version also has 2" cutpoints and lengths of up to 192".
5. Compatible extrusions are available for both dry and wet applications. Choose the appropriate extrusion based on your needs.
6. Connectors and wire options are available for easy installation. The bare wire option uses 22 AWG wire that is indoor/outdoor rated, with a standard length of 24". The connector options include 6" and 24" lengths, both using 22 AWG wire and being indoor rated. Additionally, there are dry and wet barrel options, both with a standard length of 6" and using 22 AWG wire. The dry barrel is dry rated, while the wet barrel is wet rated.
7. The finish of the extrusion can affect the lumen output of the strip. The lumen multiplier formula provided in the manual is: Bare LED Lumens x Extrusion Finish/Lens Value. For example, if the strip has a bare LED lumen rating of 527 lm/ft and the extrusion has a finish/lens value of 0.74, the calculated lumen output would be 389.98 lm/ft.
