To install the Progress Lighting P710110-009/-31M 16 Inch LED Linear Vanity Light, please follow these steps:
1. Before beginning installation, ensure that all parts are included by referring to the contents diagrams on page 1 of the instruction manual. If any part is missing or damaged, do not proceed with the installation.
2. Estimated assembly time for this product is approximately 30 minutes. You will need the following tools (not included): Phillips screwdriver, pliers, wire stripper, safety glasses, electrical tape, and a ladder.
3. Carefully read and understand the safety information provided in the manual. Turn off the main power supply at the circuit breaker panel before starting the installation.
4. It is important to consult a qualified electrician to ensure that the branch circuit conductor is correct and meets the minimum 90°C supply conductor requirement to avoid the risk of fire.
5. If you are using any special control devices with this fixture, follow the instructions carefully to comply with N.E.C. requirements. If you have any questions, contact a qualified electrical contractor.
6. Handle the glass shades and bulbs with care, as they are fragile.
7. The product must be installed by a person familiar with its construction, operation, and the hazards involved, in accordance with the applicable installation code.
8. Before attaching the fixture, detach the back plate (AA) from the canopy by removing the screws (CC). Save these screws for step 3.
9. Attach the back plate (AA) onto the outlet box using the mounting screws supplied with the outlet box (not included).
10. Strip 3/8" of insulation from the ends of the electrical wires. Use wire nuts (BB) to connect the white fixture wire to the white supply wire from the outlet box, and connect the fixture black wire to the black supply wire. Connect the fixture ground wire and supply ground wire using a wire nut or by fastening to the ground xxxx on the back plate. Push all wire connections into the outlet box.
11. Attach the fixture (A) to the back plate (AA) using the flat head xxxx (CC) and secure tightly.
12. Use the CCT switch to select the desired color temperature setting: 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K.
13. After completing the installation, remember to shut off the main power supply before cleaning the product or changing light bulbs. Use a damp cloth to clean the fixture and avoid using abrasive cleaners or cleaners containing alcohol.
