Installation of the UniFi 6 plus Long Range access point is a straightforward process. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Before starting, ensure that you have the necessary parts included in the package. The parts typically include the UniFi 6 plus Long Range access point, mounting bracket, mounting screws, and a PoE (Power over Ethernet) adapter.
2. Choose a suitable location for the access point. It should be centrally located to provide optimal coverage. Ensure that the access point is away from obstructions such as walls or large objects that may hinder the Wi-Fi signal.
3. Attach the mounting bracket to the desired location using the provided screws. Make sure it is securely fastened.
4. Connect the PoE adapter to the access point. The PoE adapter provides both power and network connectivity to the access point through a single Ethernet cable.
5. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the LAN port of the PoE adapter and the other end to the Ethernet port on your network switch or router.
6. Plug the power cord of the PoE adapter into a power outlet.
