How do I clean the air filters of my LG wall-mounted air conditioner?

I have noticed that the air flow from my air conditioner has decreased, and I suspect that the air filters may be dirty. I would like to know how to clean them properly to improve the performance of the unit.

To clean the air filters of your LG wall-mounted air conditioner, follow these steps:

  1. Turn off the power and unplug the power cord.
  2. Open the front cover of the indoor unit.
  3. Remove the air filters from the unit.
  4. Clean the filters with a vacuum cleaner or wash them with lukewarm water and neutral detergent.
  5. If you wash the filters, make sure to dry them in the shade before reassembling.
  6. Insert the filters back into the front cover.
  7. Check the side of the front cover to ensure that the filters are correctly assembled.
  8. Close the front cover.
