To set up your Arris BGW210-700 gateway, follow these steps:

  1. Connect the gateway to your cable modem using an Ethernet cable.
  2. Connect the gateway to your computer using another Ethernet cable.
  3. Plug the power supply cord into the power jack on the gateway and connect it to an electrical outlet.
  4. Wait for the gateway to power on and for the power light to turn steady green.
  5. Open a web browser on your computer and enter "http://192.168.1.254" into the URL bar.
  6. You will be directed to the gateway's user interface. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.
  7. Set up your Wi-Fi network by configuring the SSID (network name) and security settings. You can find the default SSID and Wi-Fi password on the label on the side of the gateway.
