Application

The flexible neck with the camera is waterproof and can be used in aqueous liquids (but not in acidic or basic solutions). The handle itself is not waterproof and should not be exposed to moisture or immersion. The device displays images on a mobile device or PC screen. It is not a medical device and should not be used on people or animals.

Software and Installation
To use the MT4095 with a mobile device, download the free OTG VIEW app from the Google PLAY store or from the Media-Tech website. For PC use, install the ViewPlayCap software from the included CD.
Installation Steps:
- During initial installation, do not connect the endoscope to the computer.
- Turn on the computer and insert the CD into the CD/DVD-ROM drive. Administrator privileges are required.
- The installation should start automatically. If not, manually run "Setup.exe".
Starting and Usage
Only the camera and flexible cable can be immersed. The remote control is not waterproof. The USB endoscope is intended for inspecting non-electrical devices. The metal camera head can cause short circuits, so always disconnect the unit from the power supply before inspection. Do not exceed the minimum bending radius of 60 mm to avoid damaging the device.
Connecting the Endoscope and Starting the App:
- Turn on your computer and connect the endoscope to a USB port.
- Follow Windows instructions to install drivers for the endoscope.
- Run "ViewPlayCap".
- In the "Devices" tab, select "USB2.0 PC camera". In the "Options" tab, activate "Preview" to display the camera image.
If another USB camera is already installed, you might encounter an error. In the "Devices" menu, select the "USB2.0 PC camera" driver.
Camera Lighting Adjustment
Use the brightness control (3) to adjust the LED brightness.
Main Menu Options
The software provides various options:
- File: Set Capture File (select save location and file name), Allocate File Space (set memory size), Save Captured Video, Exit.
- Devices: Select Endoscope Driver (choose "USB2.0 PC camera").
- Options: Preview (enable/disable image display), Video Capture Filter, Video Capture Pin (configure video format, frame rate, colors, output size, compression), Capture (Start/Stop recording).
- Set Frame Rate: Adjusts the frame rate (images/s). Recommended setting is 30 images/s.
- Set Time Limit: Sets the maximum recording time in seconds. It is recommended not to change this setting.
Picture Settings
The "Picture settings" menu allows for image control, including reflection, tilt, brightness, contrast, gamma, hue, saturation, sharpness, VGA snap size, and zoom. Automatic mode control can be used for optimal quality. Standard settings include Undo, Save, and Restore. You can also select between Inside/Outside views.
Effect Frame: Offers various visual effects like deactivation, reversal, color adjustments, edge detection, mosaic, and more. Frame options include decorative elements.
Snapshot Function
Press the snapshot button (6) to take a picture. Options include saving as BMP or JPG, exiting, rotating the image, and viewing help.
The snapshot function requires administrator privileges.
Tips for Using Attachments
The endoscope comes with interchangeable tips:
- Magnetic tip: Used for lifting metal objects.
- Mirror tip: Extends the field of view into inaccessible areas.
- Hook tip: Used for capturing small objects.
To install tips, carefully open the clamping ring and attach the tip to the recess beneath the camera. Do not bend excessively during opening.
Maintenance and Cleaning
This product requires minimal maintenance, primarily occasional cleaning. Use a soft, anti-static, lint-free cloth. Rinse the flexible neck with clean water after use in liquids and dry thoroughly before packing. The device can be immersed in cleaning liquid only up to the maximum water level; the handle must not be immersed or wetted.
Environmental Protection
The device is marked with a symbol of a crossed-out waste container, indicating it should not be disposed of with household waste. Users are obliged to return electrical and electronic equipment to designated collection points for recycling. Proper recycling contributes to environmental protection and human health.
