5. Configuração

5.1 Instalação da bateria

  1. Locate the battery cover on the back of the unit (refer to Figure 2, item 7).

  3. Insert one 9V battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Feche a tampa da bateria com segurança.

Note: If the battery compartment seems tight, ensure you are using a standard-sized 9V battery and inserting it correctly. Do not force the battery.

5.2 Inicialização e autoteste

Press the power button to turn on the device. The gauge will perform a brief self-test, and the display will illuminate. Ensure the battery icon indicates sufficient power.

6. Operação

6.1 Selecting Refrigerant Type

The L202 has a built-in database of 90 refrigerants. Use the function keys to scroll through and select the appropriate refrigerant for your system (e.g., R134A, R410A, R1234YF). The gauge will display the corresponding saturation temperature data.

The L202 features three primary operating modes:

  • Refrigerant Measurement Mode: Displays real-time pressure and corresponding saturation temperature. This mode is essential for subcooling/superheating calculations and general system pressure monitoring.
  • Vacuum Percentage Modo: Used when pulling a vacuum on a system. It shows the vacuum level as a percentage, indicating the efficiency of the vacuum process.
  • Leak Detection Mode: Assists in identifying potential leaks within the HVAC system by monitoring pressure changes over time.

6.4 Ajuste de luz de fundo

The display backlight can be adjusted for optimal visibility. Short press the power key to cycle through brightness levels. The backlight will automatically switch off after 10 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.
