1. Open the battery compartment of the new remote control.
2. Locate the series of small switches (dip switches) inside the compartment. There are typically 4 switches, offering 16 possible combinations.
3. Access your ceiling fan's receiver (usually located in the fan's canopy, above the motor housing). Note the position of the dip switches on the receiver.
4. Carefully adjust the dip switches on your new remote control to exactly match the pattern of the dip switches on your fan's receiver. For example, if the receiver's switches are UP-DOWN-UP-DOWN, set the remote's switches to UP-DOWN-UP-DOWN.
5. Once the switches match, replace the battery compartment cover on the remote.

Observação: If you do not have access to the original receiver's dip switch settings, you may need to try different combinations on the remote until it pairs with the fan. Patience is required for this process.
